Description

This is the Beatles Let It Be Box Set PXS 1 with Compliments sticker on the box and Factory Sample sticker on the record.Ultra Rare and Superb.

I've had this since the early '70's and it's still in lovely condition.

As you know this was released in April 1970 but was withdrawn and replaced by the the album only in the November. This box set originally retailed at 59/6 and wasn't the best of sellers. However I doubt this copy was ever offered for sale.

I'll try and describe the condition as best I can.

Outer slip cover is excellent + with just a couple of small creases under the lamination, one one the front and one on the rear. The bottom right corner has a bump resulting in a smal crease etc, there is a little clear tape reinforcement. However this is still a superb looking cover and would be very hard to better, please see the pics.

Inner tray and book holder are totally original and again in superb condition giving their flimsy construction.

The inner tray has a small crease and a 2mm tiny tear to the bottom fold, please see the pics.

The book holder is also superb with no reinforcement just a couple of tiny 3mm tears in two corners, please see the pics.

The book is really lovely with hardly any issues. It has the post over credit piece which is rare. I wouldn't open the book wide due to the delicate way it was bound.

The record cover is the Red Apple version and is in really excellent condition with just a small bump to the bottom right corner. The spine states PCS 7096 and is as straight as can be.

The dark green Apple labelled record is also superb with no marks that I can see and no spindle trails. The labels are very very clean with the factory sample sticker to side one.

Stampers are RT? and GAG2.
