Beatles LET IT BE BOX SET. 1st pressing Canadian. Deadwax etch = Phil + Ronnie with clearly engraved #1 on both sides as well as the catalogue 6351, and yes! the JS-17,500-7 etched out! (bell sound of course).
Hands down the nicest Canadian press of this item I've ever seen. It was purchased from a collecter who bought his records the day of issue.
The outer box has some corner wear and some slight bends and has retained its gloss, revealing only slight edge-wear on the back seams.
The vinyl is glossy with some surface scratches that are light and non-feelable. there are a few finger smudges as well. I've been reluctant to clean this item given its amazing value. As it stands it plays really well, bold with a little surface noise.
The inner box and original tray are in nearly perfect condition. The inner box, which houses the tray, shows slight signs of wear, as it has been opened and closed for veiwing over the last 40 years. The tray is perfect.
The Get Back book is beautiful. There are some scratches on Paul's head shot on the cover. Also, I made the mistake of investigating the book, and in doing so some pages in the latter half of the book came free of the binding. Such is the curse of this item!
Other than that the book is in wonderful shape.
The record jacket shows some ring-wear, but there is no edge-wear, or splits.
