This week, there are several MONO first pressing LP’s for sale. None of these are Near Mint, but none of these are below the very high end of VG. Most are VG+, and some are a beautiful VG++, dangerously close to NM. All of these copies would make either very nice first copies, many steps above filler copies, or else they will make great Christmas gifts for your collector who is missing any of these titles. Beatles LP Meet the Beatles! Second Pressing MONO VG+
Vinyl--- Beautiful piece of vinyl. Under the bare bulb test, there are just a few very light lines that appear on side 1, grading that side as VG++. Side 2 has a modest amount of slightly coarser lines, some (but not all) of which you cannot see under normal room lighting, nor can you feel. Side 2 is VG+. ASCAP and BMI are present, disqualifying this copy as the rare first pressing. Scranton.
Plates--- G2/F1
Cover--- Top seam has a 4” split. The rest of the seams are solid, no splits, no shelfwear. Front is superclean. Even the white areas are still very white. Back cover has extremely light dirtwear to the top and bottom only. This cover presents very well. Had it not been for the split top area, I’d have kept it for myself!
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Blue.

(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl. However, I am happy to by request. As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
