(Note: If you win multiple items in a week’s listings, please wait for the end of all of the auctions for me to invoice you, so that you can take advantage of my combined shipping offer. Thanks!)
READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.
(Please Note: Thank you to all who purchased a copy of my book on flash drive this Christmas Season, and for the marvelous feedback on its contents!
This flash drive will be retired for the season at the end of the month, so if you’re still one of the Watchers, please buy yours now. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until next year. Best for a Happy New Year to us all.)
Beatles LP Help! 1975 Toughest Undocumented Apple JAX “All Rights” Variation, NM!
If you’re having trouble completing this run, this one will give you trouble. This “All Rights” variation doesn’t show up for sale at all to begin with.
**The disclaimer is at the bottoms of BOTH labels. Previous to this copy, the few that I’d seen had the disclaimer on 5 lines on Side 2 in the upper right shoulder of the sliced Apple.**
See compere photo.
Time for another hardcore collector to own this one. The vinyl is nearly perfect. When the Second Edition of my flash drive comes out, this will be the copy pictured.
Vinyl--- NM/NM. Both sides shine like brand new. Side 2 has some faint manufacturer’s defect that barely intrudes the shine. Record shines about 99% brand new.
Plates--- F19/W9. Machine-stamped letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.
Cover--- VG. Visually presents an easy VG+. However; there’s a hole punch in the bottom right corner. Top pocket seam has a 3-inch split. See photo.
Gatefold--- VG+. Very slight yellowing, which doesn’t detract from the graphics. NO CENTER SEAM SPLITS.
Labels--- EX/EX. Disclaimer appears at the bottoms of both labels. Never seen that before!
These old eyes aren’t seeing as clearly as they used to. Each side has some VERY light, tiny marks, but I can’t tell if they’re spindle. Labels are both certainly brilliant enough to be considered NM by collectors.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- EX. Generic white inner sleeve with die-cut hole for the labels to show is present. And it looks nearly as brand new as it did in 1975. Practically NO yellowing and NO SEAM SPLITS.
A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.
RIAA: N/A
**This is the only copy I’ve ever seen with the two-line disclaimer at the bottom of Side 2. Let me know if anyone out there has one! **
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
Note: All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.
CAUTION! There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids. A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.
Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!
(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
**Check out my other auctions for more hard-to-find vinyl!
