READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP Help! 1965 MONO Decca Pressing Ridiculously Clean!

Vinyl--- EX/ NM.  Side 1 has ONE very light scuff.  Side 2 looks brand new unplayed.  Vinyl shines glossy like a mirror.

Plates--- T9P/ P8P

Cover--- EX? Not sure how to grade this cover.  It presents dangerously close to NM, but that was because the previous owner seems to have Scotch taped the edges, so as not to allow the seams to split.  As a result, all seams and spine are muscular strong, but there’s Scotch tape on it. 

I must say that this technique has kept this cover’s border the whitest I’ve ever seen.

(How would you guys rate a NM cover with Scotch tape around the borders?  Please advise.  I’ve never seen that before.)

Labels--- NM/ NM.  Side 1 label is so brand new-looking that it still has some small vinyl burrs attached from the factory.  Both labels look as though they were printed an hour ago.  NO SPINDLE MARKS.

Side 2 label has credits split down under track 4, “The Bitter End.”  Also changes the title of track 5 to “You’re Going to Lose That Girl,” as opposed to “You’re Gonna…” making this a second pressing “Help,” but a first pressing Decca.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Original Capitol Olive Green inner sleeve is present and in nice, flat condition.  There’s a 4-inch bottom center seam split.  Why didn’t they Scotch tape that, too?

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: N/A

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
