READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP 1975 Rubber Soul Apple TOUGHEST Jacksonville “All Rights” Label, VG+!

You might think that the scrolling “All Rights” label for Rubber Soul is the hardest one to find.  Well, you’re certainly not wrong that that one is one that will drive you to tears, trying to locate.  This one is tougher.

Side 1 has the familiar two lines above the playhole.  But the more common B-side has the disclaimer on 5 lines at the bottom of the label in the right corner.  (See compere photos.) 

This copy has the disclaimer on Side 2 just under the album’s title.  Ever see one?

Vinyl--- VG+/VG+.  That’s still a very strong grade.  This copy has just a few more light lines on both sides to disqualify it as an EX disc.  However; there’s still a good 85% original shine on each side.  Good-looking record!

Plates--- H19/H23.  Machine-Stamped letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.

Cover--- VG++.  Not quite an EX cover, but much better than a VG+ one.  Front cover looks beautiful full-colors.  Back cover is 95% snow white.  Light foxing at the top, some very light browning down the mouth.  Tiny tear on the front cover mouth, just below Paul’s neck.  Overall though, a pretty sturdy, nearly new-looking cover.  NO SEAM SPLITS.

Labels--- VG+/VG+.  Labels are still bright and shiny!  The only issue is that each label has a lot of light spindle marks.  No digs, though.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- VG+.  Sleeve has yellowed over the 5 decades, but there are NO SEAM SPLITS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: 18

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
