READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP 1970 The Beatles Again First Pressing in Shrink!

Vinyl--- EX/ NM.  Side 1 has a light short scratch that can’t be felt with the fingertip.  Side 2 looks unplayed.

Plates--- Z13/ Z15.  “Bell Sound,” “SF” in the dead wax on both sides.  Machine-stamped letter “O” in the dead waxes makes this a Jacksonville pressing.

Cover--- Excellent cover.  Original price sticker on the front cover.  The only damage is at the top right and bottom right corners, where the shrinkwrap exposed them.  Otherwise, this is a beauty of a cover.

Back cover, weather calls for heavy rains on George Harrison, turning to freezing sleet over several regions of John Lennon.  See photo.

Breathe Holes--- There is one breathe hole on the front cover on John’s right shoe.

Labels--- NM, both sides.  “The Beatles Again” labels. Labels contain the thinner in-house Jacksonville font with the titles center-justified.  “Manufactured by Apple Records, Inc.” additional text is at the bottom of both labels, which do not appear on the other pressings from other plants.  Not to be confused with the “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc.” perimeter print, which appears at the bottom of the Side 2 label, making this copy a first pressing.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Generic white inner sleeve.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
