1965 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This near mint 1965 first mono pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
The rarer 'MT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side one label.
Housed in a pristine front laminated, tri-flipback Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
Complete with original 'Use Emitex' lined inner sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper numbers: 4/LR & 2/GDH

A superior clean and white example which retains its high-gloss, unscratched front laminate which bears just two light spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails'.
The corners and opening edges are in superb shape with just light bruising but with perfect opening edges displaying absolutely no wear whatsoever.
The rear panel is pristine white and clean with no writing, missing paper or discolouration of any kind.
The 'flipbacks', spine and seams are all in perfect shape with no stress, splits or other faults.
Hard to find a better example.

Carefully played just a few times the disc appears 'shop fresh' with pristine high-gloss surfaces bearing no scuffs, scratches, 'bag rash' or marks of any kind.
Even under a halogen desk lamp I struggled to detect the feint traces of a few wispy sleeve removal hairlines - it is that good.
Needless to say that this beautiful thick, heavy vinyl copy is 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
The sound quality really is superb with all tracks are sounding loud, warm and clear with no audible wear.
There is no hiss, crackle or distortion - even 'Yesterday' plays perfectly.
Both run-ins and all bands play completely silently without any interference.
A rare chance to hear this LP as it sounded the day it was bought.
