Description
THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'/'I'M DOWN'
This Excellent UK 1st pressing dates from its initial July 1965 release and is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5305
A genuine red & white EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker is adhered to the side 1 label
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & upper case 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the 'Help!' label.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18280-2 & 7XCE 18281-2
Stamper codes: 2/GAM & 3/GRD
The disc is housed in its original green & white Parlophone company cover.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Both are clean & undamaged with just a few minor storage scuffs and some light spindle trails to the side 2 centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean & glossy playing surfaces which are free form any surface marks or scratches in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but no additional traces of wear.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has received some careful play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults. The only wear I detected during my single careful play-check was a little background wear on 'I'm Down.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean, flat & unworn with minor storage wrinkling but no writing, splits or tears.
