1965 UK 1st PRESS *MONO* LP
**EARIEST POSSIBLE COPY**
This copy, with its '1/G, 1/G' mother/stampers, was amongst the first 300-500 copies pressed.
This earliest possible 1965 UK 1st mono pressing copy is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.
Housed in its original front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' mono cover.
Complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper numbers: 1/G & 1/G

Superb, deep-gloss surfaces which, apart from two small & light fingernail scuffs, both appear 'as new'.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals absolutely no other marks or wear to either side.
Very thick vinyl which lies 100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This copy has only ever been carefully played on top quality equipment, all tracks play perfectly.
There is no trace of any groovewear distortion or background crackle on any track.
Even the easily damaged opening chords to 'I Need You' and the delicate 'Yesterday' play cleanly & clearly.
There is silence between each track and no clicks, pops or any other traces of audible wear anywhere.
This copy will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
A pristine white & extremely strong example which displays no trace of yellowing anywhere and bears just a single faint 'thumbnail' crease.
There is some light shelfwear bruising to the corners, but both opening edges appear untouched on both sides.
The rear panel is pristine white and apart from a tiny scratch above George's head, is 'as new'.
All flipbacks, seams and the spine are in perfect condition.
