THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
1965 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
This outstanding 1st stereo pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is present in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper codes: 3/AH & 2/AL

A pristine pair showing just a few faint spindle marks to each centre hole. A small section of the silver centre hole marks is still visible around the side 2 centre hole.
Visual: 1. NEAR MINT 2. EXCELLENT
Superb deep-gloss 'as new' surfaces in strong daylight which shows up a handful of hairline scratches on side 2, but side 1 is 'as new' and unmarked. Careful examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals no further marks or blemishes to either side.
Play: 1. NEAR MINT 2. EXCELLENT +
This wonderful and warm sounding copy has been barely played and as a result all tracks play cleanly & clearly without any groove/play wear or background noise. My careful play check at volume found just 3 light clicks at the end of 'Act Naturally' but no other audible faults or wear - even on the delicate 'Yesterday'.

EXCELLENT
A very respectable exmaple of this easily blemished cover, which despite some natural age-toning retains an unscratched & undamaged high-gloss front laminate with no 'thumbnails' or any other signficant signs of wear. All corners are free form any heavy bumps and both opening edges are clean & sharp with no tears or feathering to either. The rear panel is very clean with just a hint of light disc impression but no other significant marks or any writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are fully inplace and intact and both seams are smooth and unstressed. The spine is fully worded and also undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with just minor age-toning and unavoidable wrinkles from storage but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
