THE BEATLES - 'Extracts From The Film A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'
UK 1964 1st PRESSING EP
This barely played 1964 UK 1st pressing 4-track EP is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8920
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, bi-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 832-1N & 7TCE 833-2N
Stamper codes: 1/GG & 1/R
CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
A superb pair with just a small handful of faint spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Clean, bright & deep-gloss playing surfaces which display just some insignificant wispy paper-type hairlines in strong daylight but no other marks or any scratches to either side.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This great sounding copy appears to have been barely played and as a result, all tracks are completely unworn and play without any groove/playwear or any other such distraction.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A fine unworn example which retains a clean high-gloss front laminate with just a little age-discolouration to the upper corners, but no 'thumbnails' or other creasing. There is just a touch of wear to the opening edge but no tears front or rear. The rear panel is clean, white & unblemished with just a faint bend in the lower right corner but no marks, writing or missing paper. Both flipbacks are fully intact and all seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
