Description

Hi, my name is Doug Kale. I have been a trusted seller of Beatles items for over 25 years.

Up for auction is the very rare picture sleeve for the George Martin single of A Hard Day's Night b/w I Should Have Known Better. The record number is UA 750.

This was issued in 1964 on the United Artists label. This is a must-have picture sleeve for any US Beatles collector, but one which relatively few people own. It was released at the height of Beatlemania in the USA.

George Martin was of course The Beatles' producer and the man who signed them to a recording contract. While The Beatles did not actually perform on the record, George Martin and his Orchestra perform instrumental versions of two great Lennon-McCartney songs from "A Hard Day's Night".

This has always been a very desirable item in any Beatles collection because it is a great-looking picture sleeve with a wonderful picture of The Beatles standing together with George Martin.

The sleeve is in Very Good condition. There are NO split seams and there is NO writing, stickers, etc. on the sleeve.

There is some minor wear and a very tiny tear which was repaired nicely at the top edge on the right hand side at the word "Better". It was done very well and is not very noticable.

This auction is for the sleeve only, the record is not included.

Remember, this is one of the two or three rarest US Beatles picture sleeves ever made!
