THE BEATLES - 'FROM ME TO YOU'/'THANK YOU GIRL'
1963 UK *DEMONSTRATION* 45
This extremely rare disc is a 100% genuine DEMONSTRATION 45 which pre-dates its official April 1963 release date. These specially pressed discs were distributed in a very limited quantity (just a few hundred) to DJs and press persons only. Very few genuine examples survive today, especially from this early period
This example bears the correct 'oversize' labels which cover the serrated rim of the disc, with a large red 'A' on the 'From Me To You' label: R 5015
Both labels also carry the wording 'DEMONSTRATION RECORD - NOT FOR SALE' and 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rim texts.
An 'MT' purchase tax code is stamped into each run out, but not on the label.

Stamper codes: 1/A & 1/A
The disc is housed within an original EMI promotional 'Top Pop' sleeve.

Labels: VERY GOOD
Both labels are bright & fully intact with no major blemishes or wear. Both are a little soiled from frequent use and there is some wear around the 'A' side center hole. However, there is no writing or any other significant damage anywhere.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surface are fairly clean with just some light marks and wear consistent with frequent turntable contact. However, there are no heavy marks or deep/feelable scratches and both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: GOOD
Having been played many times, there is understandably some moderate groovewear/background noise on both sides. However, the sound remains powerful and is without any major deterioration to either song. Both sides are free form any heavy clicks or any jumps or repeats.
Cover
VERY GOOD -
Still bright & fairly clean but with a trimmed upper edge and a number on each upper left corner. All seams remain intact & unsplit.
