THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'

UK 2nd STEREO *MISPRESSING* LP

Here is one of the few copies that exist of this pressing which contain misspellings on BOTH labels.

The fist error occurs on the side 1 label where 'I'm a Loser' has been misspelt 'I'M A LOSSER'

The second is on the side 2 label where the word '..Songs' in the publishing credit to 'Eight Days A Week' has been misspelt as '..SSongs'

The disc itself is a 2nd stereo pressing c.1968 and is on the familiar yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3062

Both labels also include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.

There is no tax/price code is visible around either centre hole.

Housed in an outer-laminated, inner-flipback stereo gatefold cover.

Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1

Stamper codes: 4/RA & 1,7/OM

Labels: EXCELLENT

Both are bright & clean pair with slight wear around each cente hole with ,as you can see, no significant blemishes or faults.

Visual: GOOD

Both playing surfaces are clean but have not been cared for in the way they should have been. Whilst most of the original shine is present, there are numerous surface marks and occasional scratches - a few of which are feelable benath the fingertips. This can only be seen as a collection filler until/if a better one comes along.

Play: GOOD

This copy has recieved a fair amount of play and carries a low grade due to some background intereference during the quieter tracks and some moderate clicks and pops but no jumps or repeats. Not really a disc to play, but a nice variant to add to any serious collection.

Cover

VERY GOOD

This example bears general handling & storagewear but no major faults throughout with the only major blemish being a small tear to the lower left corner of the hinge.

Inner-sleeve

VERY GOOD +

Fully intact with some storage wrinkling, but no writing, seam splits or tears to any part.
