1964 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING* LP
This great sounding copy is an early 1964 1st pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible around the side 1 centre hole.
Housed in an outer-laminated, inner-flipback stereo gatefold cover.
This early variant has the better quality, darker rear panel image.
Complete with its original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

A bright & clean pair with minimal spindle wear.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both surfaces of this well cared-for copy are clean & glossy but do display a few light surface marks from inner-sleeve removal and careful play. However, there are no major scuffs, marks or scratches in strong daylight or directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: EXCELLENT +
Arguabley the finest sounding of their early stereo LPs, this barely played copy sounds superb with a clear, warm & open sound missing from the mono version. All tracks here play perfectly cleanly with no traces of any groove/play wear in either channel - even on the innermost cuts. Both run-ins and all bands play totally without intereferecne and the entire LP is free form any clicks, ticks, pops or other such audible distractions or wear.

EXCELLENT
This fine example has been carefully handled and correctly stored all these years and is without any significant or major faults throughout. The delicate front panel is clean & undamaged with no tears to any of its exposed edges or bumps to any corner. Inside is clean & black where it should be with no marks writing or missing paper to either panel. The delicate centre hinge is fully intact with no tears or wear to the easily damaged edges. The rear panel is clean & glossy as the front with just some small wrinkles to the lower and left edge. All seams are unstressed and undamaged and the spine is clean, white and uncrushed - looking nice and square on the shelf.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with just a touch of unavoidable storage cearing, but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
