Beatles SCARCE 45 Ticket to Ride 1969 Subsidiary of…Text in Black Lettering NM!
I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…
One of the absolutely hardest-to-find titles in this extremely short run! This label variation was only in the shops for less than two months in 1969. Collectors know how you don’t see these for sale, and if you do, they’re usually not NM.
This one is.
Sleeve: VG++. A little wrinkle at the bottom right corner of this original Capitol company sleeve. Otherwise, it’s nice, NO SPLITS. A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve during shipping.
Vinyl: NM, both sides. If you took a bus back to 1969, walked into the nearest Grant’s, walked straight to the record dept. and picked up a copy of this 45, the vinyl would have looked just like this copy.
Labels: Small Capitol logo fits inside the orange part of the swirl, making this a scarce 1969 pressing. Side A label has the number 84 stamped on it. Otherwise, both labels are store-stock NM condition.
Black perimeter text is stand-out bold, both sides.
Plates: G2/ F1. Both sides have the machine-stamped triangle with the letters, “IAM” inside, making this a Scranton pressing.
This copy is exquisite. And it’s your keeper.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
Note: All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.
