Beatles - "Classics Collection" - Greek 5-LP box set

EMI - 1980s

 

This set consists of five Beatles LPs: "Beatles For Sale", "Help!", "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be". They are all presented in a heavy duty plastic briefcase.

There are a few interesting differences between the UK releases and these versions:

1. All the LPs are on the EMI label. No Parlophone or Apple labels.

2. All the inner sleeves are clear plastic.

3. "Beatles For Sale" has a standard gatefold sleeve with only one opening, instead of the single flap and inner opening version of the UK release.

4. "Sgt. Pepper" has a standard gatefold sleeve with only one opening. There is no cut-out sheet.

All five albums are in mint condition. They have never been played. The sleeves and inner sleeves are also in mint condition, except for "Abbey Road", where there are slight tears on the top and bottom seams due to record movement in the sleeve. That would be near mint.

The plastic briefcase is in mint condition. It has a flap that fastens with two press-studs and a black plastic carry handle.
