Description

This was Motley Crue's own record label that their debut album was released on. Leathur Records was actually created by Motley Crue and manager Allan Coffman. Too Fast for Love was released in December 1981. There is three pressings of the Leathur Records LP (with four variations of the insert). The first press being the rarest. THIS IS THE SECOND PRESSING but #1 (there were two versions of the second presisng, identical except the insert) ...  For the second and third press the big air-brushed hair was significantly reduced, they also made a few other changes to the cover such as red logo and sunglasses on the back and different photos/retouch on the insert. In January 29, 1982 Motley signed a deal with Greenworld Records Limited who manufactured and distributed the third press Leathur LP. The album was part of what is referred to as a pressing & distribution deal, meaning that the band retained ownership of the masters and Greenworld had rights to make the records and put them out.
I researched this pressing and it is FIRST VERSION of the second pressing. The insert has the crossed arms of Nikki Six. All other data matches what is listed on motleymuseum.com.
The condition is almost perfect. Yes, it is used and the record has been played a couple times but is in an amazingly good condition. It has been kept upright and in a re-sealable plastic protective sleeve.
