Up for auction is an incredible set of 23 never played Beatle's albums on Capitol. All U.S. releases. Including A Hard Day's Night movie soundtrack which was never released on Capitol. Very Strange. Anyway, I got these years ago in a sealed box from a friend at a NYC radio station. I thought maybe they were from the Platinum set Capitol put out for execs only. But a search of the internet say's that set only had 16 albums. I lost the box years ago in a move and can't find it. But these records have never been played ! All Capitol releases are here. I forgot a photo of Rubber Soul, sorry.

Sorry about the list, to lazy to put in release order. Here's you chance to own a very rare set of every Capitol release, including A Hard Day's Night, which I don't believe they ever had the license for. The only one missing is The Beatles Story, which was rubbish anyway. It's heavy and I will put plastic sleeves on all LP's. Some covers have slight ring ware but nothing too severe. A rare platinum boxed set of Beatles records Capitol, early 1980's the unopened silver box with wording 'The Platinum Series, Beatles Collection, Compliments Of Capitol Data Systems, A Division Of Capitol Records Inc', in black text on the front, contained in the box are sixteen records - 'Abbey Road', 'Meet The Beatles', 'Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band', 'Magical Mystery Tour', 'Yesterday...And Today', possibly 'Rubber Soul', 'Help!', 'Beatles IV', 'The Early Beatles', 'Revolver', 'Beatles '65', 'Something New', 'The Beatles Second Album', 'Hey Jude', 'Yellow Submarine', and 'The Beatles' (White album), These platinum boxed sets were made at the then Chief Executive of E.M.I's request for his best clients. The vendor believes that less than 1,000 of these boxed sets were pressed.
