This is a relisting since the previous winner gave me the old “it’s my brother's birthday coming soon” but he’s already get one tune. It’s affective, though!

At any rate here it is again up for auction.

This is a Historic release and the real deal, and as compared to the Japanese reissues that are regularly selling on ebay for over $100.00US. I'd rather own the real thing.

This is the most well known (and infamous!) collectable in the record hobby. This is the Beatles Yesterday & Today Album, with the rare Alternate butcher cover. I 100% guarantee this to be an original. This album was scheduled to be released in August 1966, but, after a small amount of copies were printed, Capital Records decided to paste a less offensive cover right over the butcher cover. These are known as second state copies, or paste over copies. This cover featured the Beatles standing around a steamer Trunk . Once copies of the butcher cover ran out to paste over, Capital began printing up new covers with only the trunk cover, and no butcher cover lies underneath these LP's. A person can tell by gently peeling back the trunk cover , to reveal the butcher cover. This is known as a Third State or peeled copy, and this is an example of what I have for sale. It is by no means a perfect peel, but about 85% of the cover is still there. There have been repairs to it. Patches to top left corner about 1 square inch, Small area on Paul's face, as well a  tiny place on George's. Along with 2 small areas to left of Ringo. This was done to enhance the image of it. The seams are split on all 3 sides with masking tape on top and clear tape for the spine & bottom.. There is loss of paper about 1 by 3 inches bottom left hand side for the back cover. Someone drew drawings &  wrote "The Beatles" on the  back cover as well in ink. The LP is included with lots of hairline scratches but plays well and is also original along with the record insert. This is a Mono T2553 US Pressing. I am also including a Copy of the the  Ron Tepper recall Letter regarding this LP when it was released. So if you don't want to pay TOP $$ for a mint or Sealed Copy but want a piece of Rock & Roll History that's over 40 years old, here's the one for you.
