Auction is for a The Beatles Collection 14 x LP Album Japanese Box Set, Complete, Apple Label, Stereo, #EAS-50031-44, Manufactured by Toshiba EMI Ltd In Japan. This box set comes with the obi on top. It was a limited edition to 25,200. The number on this box set is 010847 This box set is long gone and out of print. This 14 album Japanese Box Set was released in 1979. Each album has inserts inside. The box set comes with a Poster the Poster is folded to fit in the box and is comprised of the 4 individual photos that came in the White Album . There is also a insert written in Japanese . It contains all 13 of the British released albums including the double White Album . I owned a record store in Portland OR. I bought this new and have never played one of the albums they are mint the way they were shipped to me . I also have the plastic the Box was wrapped in with the Capitol EMI Imported Japan sticker . The box set is mint minus, and the obi is mint minus. This is such a rare Japanese box set to find. If you are looking for the highest quality, it just doesn't get any better.
