UK 1967 PRESSING 45
This rarely seen & NEAR MINT variant is a 1967 UK pressed 45 on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5620
As you can see, both labels have a more condensed text layout than than on most labels.
The 'A' side bears the 'Recorded during 'Live' World Television Transmission' text.
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK.. text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a rare full-colour sleeve advertising other EMI LPs including: The Beatles, The Hollies, The Beach Boys and others.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18425-1 & 7XCE 18426-2
Stamper codes: 1/RDO & 4/GRO

A perfect unworn set with just a single faint spindle mark to each centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine playing surfaces which are totally unmarked and 'as new' when viewed in strong daylight with just a handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy appears to have been played only once. My single careful play check confirmed the sound on both sides to be unworn & 'as new' with the highlight being the amazing bass response on 'Baby You're A Rich Man'.

A nice example with slight foxing & a few light storage creases but no writing, splits or tears.
