Description

According to record guides, this is the rarest 45-rpm version of the Beatles' "Please Please Me" on Vee-Jay Records (number VJ 498). The flip side is "Ask Me Why." As you can see from the scan, this is the rare 1963 variation that has the black label with rainbow circle, along with the brackets label logo. The record is well used and would grade as Good, although it also has a short half-inch crack at one spot along the edge. Otherwise it is worn but clean, with a small bit of paper loss on the "Ask Me Why" side and further wearing around the center hole on both sides. I am neither a dealer or serious collector, so I may have overlooked some pertinent details. Please feel free to send me questions about anything I may have neglected to describe.
