THE BEATLES - '4 GARCONS DANS LE VENT'
This 1964 1st French pressing of 'A Hard Day's Night' is on the orange & black Odeon label: OSX 226
Matrix numbers: XAR 793 21/M6 235927 & XAR 794 21 & M6 235928

Housed in a fully laminated French designed/printed flipback cover complete with original clear plastic inner.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A vibrant, unblemished set with just a few extremely faint spindle trails visible only at a certain angle around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean and glossy with just a small handful of light scuffs and hairlines in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp does little more than highlight these minor blemishes, adding no further significant wear.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has received a moderate amount of careful play and the sound quality is extremely high and easily comparable with the UK pressing. My single careful play-check at volume detected no trace of any groove/playwear distortion, background crackle/interference or any other significant audible distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & fully intact example with light storagewear and no major issues.
The front panel is clean and glossy with two small 'thumbnails' and some storage rubbing to the laminate. There is some rubbing to the corner tips and a trace of opening edge wear but no tears or splits anywhere. The rear panel is has some minor age-toning but both flipbacks are fully intact and undamaged.
Both seams are smooth and unsplit and the spine is unworn and perfectly worded.
