Beatles 2nd Second State Butcher Cover Unpeeled Mono RIAA 3 Yesterday & Today LP


Rare 2nd state Butcher cover Scranton pressing RIAA 3 cover. The cover is a very solid VG with a 1.5" split on the bottom of the spine. No splits elsewhere, Moderate discoloration and ring wear on the back, the front has light ring wear, and some light discoloration. 
Ringo's black shirt is clearly visible in photo #2. The cover itself is 1/8" smaller width than regular issue covers as can be seen in photo #3 (which was done when the covers were re-covered at the plant), the paste over cover hides the T 2553 in the upper right hand corner typical of paste over covers. Lastly it is an RIAA 3 from Scranton. These Scranton paste over covers are said to have used a more solvent glue compared to the West Coast covers, which would make peeling it easier if you would like to do that. 
There are no signs of peeling at all and I am sure that the Butcher cover underneath would look amazing if professionally peeled.  
The vinyl itself is also a very nice VG bordering VG+ with just light surface scratches. Matrix reads:  T1-2553-G6#2   IAM  /  T2-2553-F1  X3  IAM

All of my LPs are shipped in a plastic sleeve with 2 heavy duty cardboard inserts, and a heavy duty shipping box! I have not had one record damaged in transit. Even shipping 78s to the other side of the Earth!
