Up for auction is an original copy of:
Bathory:- s/t LP "with insert". (BMLP666-1).
Released on Black Mark/Tyfon Gramoffon productions in 1983. This is the original first press of this LP! This differs from other versions by having the yellow goat on the cover with red eyes, while other presses came in the white goat edition, and were printed also in limited numbers(6000). This Yellow Goat version of the debut album was the first release ever by Bathory, and is the LP that introduced the world to the band. This first edition was Limited to 1000 copies. No Bathory or black metal collection will be complete without this one. Considering that this LP is over 20 years old, it is in excellent condition and carries the EX/EX grade. The sleeve is in excellent condition, as is the vinyl. Also, the LP comes complete with a white paper insert with lyrics and contact details etc. Most copies of this LP is missing the insert- this one has it! Postage is £4.00. The history to this LP: I bought it from an old power/thrash metal collector in 1991. He obtained this LP from Sweden when he travelled there in 1985. He was not much of a fan of this blackened thrash music, and he traded it with me. I myself have 2 copies of this(being a great Bathory fan), and have decided to sell this to a similar Bathory or black metal fan/collector. There is absolutely no chance that this release is a bogus bootleg etc, since my own copy was obtained in 1988, and that was before black metal LP's became obscure expensive items to collect.
