An original copy of this US (CT) private pressing from Burnt Suite. Scarce but known rurally psych rock / garage LP, with leanings of the jangley garage rock variety mostly due to production which seems to front load the guitar and interspersed with some harder psych guitar moments before drifting off into more rural bluesy treatments.. In short, it is laid back and drifts between this rural vibe and the guys getting loaded.
Disc grades overall vg+ (very good plus). visually vg+ (very good plus) with noticeable hairlines and some of the luster of it's day is gone, but there were no deep scratches or scuffs. The record play grades a fair vg+ (very good plus) with only background crackle revealing evidence of wear and then mostly noticeable on the run in and fade out of each track and in quieter parts, the rest of the time it varies but doesn't distract. Play reveals garage psych rock sounds; coming through to take back your mind! Overall the disc plays well, no serious distractions of note, a respectable addition to anyone's collection.
The cover is in excellent condition, but downgraded to ex- (excellent minus) as there is a nick on the top edge upper right hand corner and some very minor corner wear... otherwise the cover is clean, please see photographs... the cover art is pretty representative of the contents.. some freak out dudes, having fun in a barn in a rural looking real people setting. They looked like they had fun.. and they looked like an intelligent bunch of kids. The cover still retains a strong, bold sharp image (matt finish un laminated), the spine and seams remain crisp & sharp with a smooth finish ....overall looking great, only the very smallest of corner wear and light creasing.
The labels are clean with no damage, maybe a little of the luster has gone.
EXTRA : This is a very nice piece of heavy psych garage rock and all round holds together as a solid album.
