BUDGIE Might be Heavy Rock's Best Kept Secret, Formed In the late 1960's & Hailng from Cardfiff the Welshmen are Best known for their Bludgeoning Power Riff's, Bassist & Lead Vocalist Burke Shelly's Girlish High Pitched Vocals and Some Of the Funniest Song Titles In Rock (Nude Disentegrating Parachutist Woman, Hot As a Docker's Armpit, You're the Best thing Since Powdered Milk). How this Band are Never Mentioned alongside BLACK SABBATH, LED ZEPPELIN, JUDAS PRIEST & DEEP PURPLE will Forever remain One Of the Greatest Mysteries & Crime's Of the 21st Century. On their Debut the Welsh Trio Pull No Punches, This Album was Produced by the Same Producer Who Produced Black Sabbath's first Three LP's and you can tell as well! The Best Song's On here In My Opinion are Guts, Nude Disentrating Parachutist Woman, Rape Of the Locks and Homicidal Suicidal. Burke Shelly Once Said In Interview that the Name BUDGIE Is a Contradiction Of themselves, When you think Of a Budgie you think Of a Small Colorfull Chirping Bird In a Cage. The Fact that BUDGIE Songs were Later Covered By Such greats As VAN HALEN, IRON MAIDEN & SOUNDGARDEN (And Perhaps Most Notably METALLICA's Incredible Cover Of "Breadfan") Is Testament to the Band's Influence.
