In For The Kill 6:27 Crash Course In Brain Surgery 2:37 Wondering What Everyone Knows 2:53 Zoom Club 9:49 Hammer And Tongs 6:59 Running From My Soul 3:36 Living On Your Own 9:12 Budgie went on tour after the release of their groundbreaking third studio album “Never Turn Back on a Friend”. The tour was very intense for the Welsh trio and drummer Ray Philips had to leave the band eventually after a dispute with bassist Shelley and guitarist Bourge. Pete Boot replaced him. Their fourth studio album “In for the Kill” was quickly put together between two tours in a short amount of time. Even tough the band hadn’t have lot of time to work on the songs, the album was once again a bull’s eye.“In for the Kill” is a little bit heavier than the previous “Never Turn Back on a Friend” and the mixture of progressive rock, blues and heavy metal work very good on this release. The album features many classic Budgie tracks like the progressive title track “In for the Kill”, the long jam “Zoom Club”, the heavy “Crash Course in Brain Surgery”, the catchy “Running from my Soul”, the heavy blues based “Hammer and Tongs” and the final “Living on Your Own”.
