Very RARE US first pressing of Bud Powell`s early recording "The Amazing Bud Powell " on Blue Note Records (1951).
Bud Powell, piano, Fats Navarro, trumpet, Max Roach and Roy Haynes, drums, Curly Russell and Tommy Potter, bass, Sonny Rollins, tenor sax.

GRADING:
VG++ or EX COVER with a fair amount of general wear. Please see photos for details.
- Partially split corner (approx. 1 inch in length) at bottom right.
- Edge wear along bottom, with lightly "shaved" bottom corner (at left).
- Creased corner at top right.
- Scuffing to the spine.
- Light ring scuffing to front sleeve (as per the photo).
- Darkening to rear sleeve, especially along edges.

VG++ or EX RECORD. Played a fair amount but in very passable allround condition.
- Visually somewhat "cloudy" with age, with general hairlining.
- Some recurring background crackle, especially in between tracks.
- Blue Note "Lexington Ave." address labels with spindle wear to both sides.
- A few superficial scuffs cause 2-3 light clicks on each side, nothing serious
- Continuous, fully enjoyable audio reproduction; definitely no skips or jumps.
