This magnificent set from Mosaic features the great pianist/composer in 6 sessions recorded 1949 - 1958. Musicians include Fats Navarro (trumpet), Curtis Fuller (trombone), Sonny Rollins (tenor sax), Tommy Potter, Curly Russell, George Duvivier, Paul Chambers, Sam Jones (bass), Roy Haynes, Max Roach, Art Taylor, Philly Joe Jones (drums).
