Forever Vinyl Presents:

Bruce Springsteen - Ultra rare art work demo promo cover for Born to Run (COVER ONLY, NO RECORD). This is the script cover and original packaging demo at CBS for Born to Run. There are no numbers on the cover and no songs on the cover, Bruces photo on the inside of the gatefold is upside down in relation to the front of the cover. It appears that the script lettering is lower from the top of the cover then I normally see on other covers and the guitar also has space between the right cover edge then on the other script covers that I've seen. Bruces head also looks closer to the spine then normal. There is minor wear on the spine. There are no splits in the spine or top or bottom of the cover. There is a small bend in the lower left cover (photo should show all these) There is a water issue on the bottom of the cover which caused some discoloration about an inch on the bottom of the front and back of the cover and also caused the gatefold to stick when opened and move cover material (the white part) to stick to the other side of the of the inside cover. Considering just how rare this item is, I don't know if anyone should really care. You'll be owning the original artwork cover for the Script Cover of Born to Run. We got this from a music professional at CBS who worked at the Pitman Pressing plant in NJ.

Another amazing collection came in and this time for a music professional in the industry. Lived and breathed it. This is on consignment. We only take the best items for consignment and this fits that description to a tee. Collectible, rare, excellent condition, That is what you are getting with this record. We are pleased as punch to offer these rare, hard to find records in excellent to mint condition.

Shipping and handling in the USA is: $4.00 - Insurance is $1.80 extra. If you don't buy insurance and the item is lost, stolen or damaged in transit, you agree to not seek damages or ask for refunds.

Priority shipping and handling/insurance is $8.50

Overseas Shipping: We only ship priority mail with insurance. We do not ship 1st class because it offers no protection for either one of us. Most of our items are rare or hard to find.  People steal, postal employees just don't care that this is a record. I've seen grapling hooks through some of our rare records. This protects your item.
