Description
This LP is a great prog psych album.
It's entitled 'Heavy Rock Spectacular' by a fine prog psych band called Bram Stoker. It is on the UK Windmill label and was released in 1972 and the catalogue number is WMD 117. It is becoming very rare now.
This is a lovely recording and the music combines hard driving rock with some more melodic moments.
OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve which is laminated on the front is in fine condition. There is almost no wear on the front, rear, edges and spine. There is some minor creasing on the front and rear but this is hardly noticeable. The rear of the sleeve shows some minor disclouration. I've graded the sleeve Ex-.
INNER BAG - This is a plain white diecut paper type withy a clear plastic lining. There is some creasing to the paper portion .
RECORD - The record is in fine condition. It looks very clean and appears to have been played a few times. There are some superficial marks on either side which do not affect the quality. It plays very well on both sides with some minor surface noise and some occasional pops and clicks on both sides. These blemishes do not detract from the overall quality of record. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side. I've graded the record as Ex--.
LABELS - The labels are yellow with black wording. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - WMD + 117 + A - side two - WMD + 117 + B.
I try to grade everything very conservatively and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this first pressing again in such beautiful condition.
THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS ITEM.
