Description
You're looking at an original first-pressing copy of the highly-regarded and hard-to-find trippy third album by the Swiss-based international band, recorded in RCA studios in Rome during August & September 1972. It's an experimental acid-fueled telling of the Egyptian Pharoahs' journey to the afterlife.
This original LP cover is a wallet type gatefold, with the record opening at the top, and what should be the front cover graphic on the back instead. Also included is a huge fold-out poster (6-LP-sized panels when unfolded) and a small mysterious printed insert, bearing a quote from Marcel Proust about respect for 'bad' (non-classical) music. Partially/approximately translated it says "...slowly, over time it has been filled with humans' dreams & tears...something that collects and preserves millions of souls....it has an enormous importance in the sentimental history of societies."
