MEGA RARE FUNK LP

Always in-demand, a superb boogie / funk / disco LP by The Antilles. Including the mega-funky-hit "I've Got To Have You"

As most funk collectors know, this one always turned up as a Yugoslavian pressing on the JUGODISK label (LPS-1047),  HOWEVER, I was very lucky to find an original I-S-R-A-E-L-I PRESSING !!!

On top of it, this is promo copy !! Made by the "East ronics" record company in TelAviv in 1982. This is a great discovery as this is probably the only second time that a none-Yugoslavian copy turns up for sale.  This is NOT a bootleg !! This is an ORIGINAL pressing !

To my opinion this pressing is of a much better quality than the Yugoslavian issue and sound much better.

The copy offered here came from an old radio DJ stock. It was sent to him by the record company as a promo record and therefore it include a two page promo kit with info and biography about Antilles - See the attached picture. Since this was a promo copy it also had a tiny hole at the upper right corner. This guy never played this record and it is in a simply perfect condition. glossy shiny and MINT.

Boogie / funk wasn't a successful style in this country at the time and the album sales were so poor, founding its way to the cut-out bin and then right to the trash...  Finding a copy is simply impossible nowadays. This is the second only copy I've ever seen from I-S-R-A-E-L in the past 12 years !!

• Grading

I use "Record Collector" grading method (Mint, NM, EX, VG, etc.)

My highest grade for a non-sealed records is usually NM (Near Mint) I will grade it as Mint only if it's sealed or if I am 100% certain  that this record was hardly played and has no pressings faults. I will not list records less than VG condition unless they are extremely rare.

• Packaging

Records are professionally wrapped in bubble-nylon and packed in a high-quality heavy cardboard package. Record is stored outsied of its cover to prevent seam splits during shipping.

I never had a record which arrived broken ! Feel safe when I ship !
