BOLDER DAMN local psyche garage rock stereo LP record album.
“Mourning”, Hit 5061, (thick vinyl) record is a weak VG+ with lots of small marks, but nothing major.  There is spindle wear on side 1.  Cover is VG+ with general wear/age as well as ring wear (see photo).  This is extremely rare, out of Fort Lauderdale.  Only 500 originally pressed  Recorded at Hyperbolic studios.

**I added a picture of the record label to my photo... I am also listing another album of a South florida favorite The BirdWatchers

About Bolder Damn Bolder Damn formed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida 1969, got a following by opening up for the big names that came through the state. Bolder Damn had a mad and theatrical live show that got a huge reaction in those days because neither Alice Cooper nor Ozzy Osbourne had turned up doing their wild act! The band reached a good fan base because of their live show. Their fans demanded an album, so the band went into the studio in the summer of 1972 and recorded Mourning in just 4 hours (!!!). Mourning is a combination of Blue Cheer, The Stooges, MC5 and the early Sabs... The haunting doom power of "Dead Meat", a mind blowing killer track!!!!! The moving boogie feel of "Got That Feeling" and the alarming "Monday Mourning" is just some of the excitement here on this very special LP. Bolder Damn could have been huge! Negotiations with a couple of labels had just started but front man John Anderson and bassist Ron Reffett were drafted into the US Army at the time and that brutally interrupted the bands plans to make a proper release and spread the name outside the state. Mourning is a mighty testament over one of the most essential powerhouse albums from the early 1970s. A sure investment for your collection."
