Description

Hello! This is my spare copy of the legendary "The Visit" album from the mysterious West Coast musician BOB SMITH, and issued on Kent (KST-551) in 1970. Two discs worth of mystical West Coast acid psych rock with dreamy vocals in a D.R. Hooker / Darius realm, tight playing and loaded with fuzz and effects, lysergic backing harmony AND absolutely killer guitar! 14 songs total in a gatefold 2 LP package. Considered to be a timeless classic which features a couple of THE MOTHERS on vibes and Moog. Rates R3 for rarity, sold poorly at the time of release and not many were pressed so always in demand and never cheap! The cover has moderate ringwear and some edgewear but NO TEARS, SPLITS OR ANY WRITING WHATSOEVER so I'll call it VG+ Just a few light harilines and light sleeve-type scuff marks are visible under a bright bulb, some spindle marks are evident and it plays anywhere from VG+ to NM- (depending on which side you are listening to). An absolute necessity for the collector of original rare psychedelic masterpieces!
