Description

Right now you can bid on #17 in this Limited Edition series of 100 mint condition "Bob Marley and the Wailers Collection" box sets, featuring eleven Island / Tuff Gong records, 180-gram pressing, on premium imported vinyl:

Each box in the series is stamped with a serialized number: 001/100, 002/100, 003/100, etc.; the month of production, "August 2004"; and the "Universal Collector's Edition" imprint. The original Marley records and music were available on vinyl in the United States upon their original release, but they have not been available here for some time and these remastered imported LPs have only ever been available in the UK until now.

Bob Marley was the soulful ambassador of Jamaica's greatest spiritual art form—reggae music. Since his death in 1981, the power of Marley's musical message has continued to inspire the world through his classic records and the talents of the extended family he left behind. The legacy of Marley's music with the Wailers retains its revolutionary force as a voice for the poor and oppressed, and any collection remains incomplete without the redemptive sounds of the rasta prophet.
