This all-time best album, perfect as an introduction to Bob Dylan, is released on 2LPs. 23 representative and important songs from the past half century are included on 2 LPs.
Starting with the historic protest song "Blowin' In The Wind" that made Dylan's name known, the greatest rock song of all time "Like A Rolling Stone", "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" also covered by Eric Clapton, Guns N' Roses and many other artists, the surprisingly earnest and pure love song "Make You Feel My Love" known for its covers by Billy Joel and Adele, and "Long and Wasted Years" from 2014's "Tempest", this is the definitive album that contains a number of songs that are essential to talking about Dylan. The cover of the album, a slick ukiyo-e print, is inserted on the cover of the cover of the album, "Ryukkashu," a Japan-exclusive project for the album that commemorates the artist's first visit to Japan since receiving the Nobel Prize in 2016.
