Description

Up for sale in this auction is a rare Bob Dylan double LP entitled "Great White Wonder II". We're unsure of what label released this. It features hard to find rarities, outtakes, demos and the like. Double LP with unlabeled center labels and plain white generic jacket. Vinyl is in VG- to VG shape with some light marks and wear present. The material was taken from master tapes so the quality of the material is fantastic. Center labels have been labeled with "1" and "3" so you know which record is which. Plain white gatefold jacket is in VG- shape with some wear around the edges and plenty of ringwear. There is tape affixed tot he top to hold the one sleeve of the gatefold together. Please see photos and/or ask questions before bidding.

Some more info:

It is a blank white gatefold album from 1970 that contains songs from the previous releases Stealin' and John Birch plus seven basement tape tracks. "The LPs were not merely copied from those releases, however, but from original, high quality tapes....and are quite good quality. There are a few package variations that include various combinations of the following: The cover is a blank white gatefold. In Europe it was released with a small black title stamp on the front that reads 'Stealin'/ It is the same LP set, however. The labels are blank white, light blue, yellow, or black. The vinyl is black." - Bobsboots.com

Goldmine Grading System:

  • SS  Still Sealed
  • M  Mint - Perfect in all ways.
  • M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
  • NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
  • VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
  • VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
  • VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
  • VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
  • G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
