PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


MEGA RARE PC 33235 Pitman pressing from 197? on Columbia with rigid pinkish colored inner sleeve, three-song hype sticker in the top right hand corner on the front cover and 2H (etched)/2AH (stamped) matrix suffixes in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one and two!!!  LP is VG++ with 2 light paper scuffs at 5:00 on side one.  Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and beautiful.  You will not be disappointed.  Auction also includes an INSANELY RARE rigid 12 X 12 one-sided in-store promotional display put out by CBS Records in 1986!!!  I purchased this from a former Tower Records (R.I.P.) manager here in Chicago some time in the early 2000s who was a big Dylan fan and decided to rescue this display from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive).  She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed.  Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result very few survived from the 1980s.  These are the kinds of items Dylan fans and collectors are going to be fighting over fiercely in the very near future so don't sleep.  Display is in pristine condition with NO staple or pin holes, tape residue, tears, creases or stains.  Both the LP and display are in collector condition.  You will not be disappointed.

GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
