Description

BOB BERRY: Heavy Berry (private R 5511) 1970

Ultra-rare, private pressed psych/rural/prog monster from San Jose CA, only 100 copies pressed. Featured in the Acid Archives book and 5001 Record Collector Dreams. For a hint at what this sounds like, the song “Everything That’s Anything” reminds me alot of “Nothing Is Easy” by Jethro Tull (except there’s no flute). Other songs go in Hammond prog and Westcoast directions, and the song “Dreams” dips into Funk Rock. Includes insert.

CONDITION: COVER: VG to VG+ (white cover is just a bit dirty, with some very light stains on the back and a small 1/2” tear on the bottom of the spine. It was originally sealed with a gold sticker, and the remains of this are still on the front and back) RECORD: VG+ to EX (just some very fine hairlines)

GRADING: I grade conservatively, under bright light, using the Goldmine Grading Guide as my reference (NM, EX, VG+, VG, VG-), so please bid with confidence.

SHIPPING: Within the U.S.—Media Mail $3.50, Priority Mail $8, optional delivery confirmation $0.75. Overseas—$14 for regular First Class Mail (Registered Mail adds $10.15 extra---I strongly recommend this for high value items). For Multiple Items shipping cost will be determined at the end of the auction, based on the weight of the parcel and the winner’s location. Optional insurance within the U.S. is $1.65 for values up to $50, $2.05 from $50.01 to $100, $2.45 from $101 to $200, higher values will be determined later.

All LPs are securely packaged and sent in sturdy cardboard mailers, with the record taken out of the cover.

PAYMENT: PAYPAL ONLY PLEASE… I appreciate the winner’s payment within 7 days. Thank you!
