Description

Right, here are two Boards of Canada records, both of which i would have classified as Very Good/Very Good + if it wasn't for scuffs on the first side of a beautiful place in the country and scuffs on the first tune of side two of music has a right to children and the first tune of side three. On the ep it looks as if someone attempted to remove a mark of some kind and as for the lp. your guess would be as good as mine, there is some thing like a white paper around the very edge next to the scuff on side one and two, maybe the removal of this explains the scuffing. The covers are good.

Sounds pretty bad..and its a shame for such fine music/items that they're not in at least vg+ condition however all the other tunes play just fine, ironically in my opinion the better tunes are unaffected, so whether you just want to complete a collection or want to pick out good tunes for sets...or whatever then they may be for you.

I have attempted, in light of the seeming popularity of their vinyl, to be as accurate as possible with these descriptions. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Grading system.

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Near Mint: The record is a mint as can be though having been played.

Very Good +: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening, if any, in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distoration and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

All LPs/EP's/45's I sell are the original and will be in at least Very Good Plus Condition. This means the LP/cover may show some signs that it has been played and otherwise handled by a previous careful owner (me!). Most of my LPs are close to Near Mint Condition.  If a LP differs from this condition I will note it accordingly in the item description.  If you still want a more detailed description of the item condition please contact me.
