Description
From 1969, out of Chicago, comes the two record set Blues Jam At Chess on Blue Horizon 7-66227 UK. It is a two record set that features Fleetwood Mac, Otis Spann, Willis Dixon, Shakey Horton, j.T. Brown, Guitar Buddy, Honey Boy Edwards, and S.P. Leary. It is a GREAT blues album, produced by Mike Vernon, UK blues producer extraordinaire and Marshall Chess! Fleetwood Mac featured Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. They also played together on many of the Otis Spann tracks. It must have been quite a recording session, as it appears they all were in the studio at the same time! Twenty two tracks spread over two albums with a gatefold cover. Various shots of the bands in the studio are inside the gatefold.
