Up for auction is the 1st repress
of the very rare self-titled LP by the
BLUES ADDICTS
released in 1991 on the amazing german
Little Wing Of Refugees label
in an edition of only 500 and pressed on clear vinyl.
It comes in a gatefold cardboard cover housed in a pvc sleeve
with the band's logo printed on it.
Description
The Blues Addicts were from Denmark and originally released
this album in 1970 on the danish Spectator label also in an edition
of only 500 copies. There were only four good and rare albums
on the Spectator label: Terje, Jesper & Joachim, Days
and the rarest of them all, the Blues Addicts.
This album reveals all the aesthetic charms of dirty blues-rock.
Heavy, howling guitars, grumpy english vocals and heavy drum sounds
are to the fore. The heavier Cream songs and a bit of Hendrix-creativity
come to mind. Long tracks, all own compostions.
As the Spectator studios burnt down completely and the original
master tapes were destroyed, this release was mastered from
records!
Record and cover both are in near mint condition!
It looks like new!
