Description
We recently obtained this collection from a very highly regarded, high level record company executive. Back in the early 1980s he was approached by a distributor of African Funk Records. This is when African music reached great heights with help from the appreciation of people like David Byrne and David Bowie. They discussed working together but it did not happen. However he did receive this collection gratis as promotional pieces. NONE were ever played. We have listed the condition of the records as MINT unplayed with the covers graded individually. There are a total of about 150 pieces in the collection and they will be offered in the coming weeks at Lelands.com on eBay. We will be listing them on Tuesdays.

SHIPPING: We do combine shipping on all multiple orders. All items valued at $250 or more come with signature confirmation which costs us an extra roughly $2 which is already included in your shipping charge. We are a “real” auction house so everything is packed professionally. We use plenty of thick cardboard with flats so they do not bend and peanuts and bubble for fragiles. So fear not! Also, we pay people with skills to do this work and pay for materials rather than scrounging for them. So sometimes that is factored into our shipping price. This is NOT a profit center for us, we are merely trying to break even. Most cases we lose money on shipping. Overall we definitely lose money on shipping but we are not complaining. We are happy to sell the stuff and want you to be satisfied. We are collectors too so we feel your pain.
