Description:
Very rare original Swiss LP, made in Switzerland only and moreover sold to club members only. This compilation contains recordings only published on the present LP. The LP was sponsored by the disco club "BLACKOUT" next to the Zurich Airport (the club still exists but the name has changed). Current copy is complete with all the 6 photos of the groups and even does include a never seen before insert card where the club thanks the buyers for buying this record. Very rare inserts!!!
This LP contains Prog/Rock, Beat and Folk tracks as well as a very good version of the famous FUNK track "THINK (ABOUT IT)" (Brown/Collins) performed by the SKORPIONS OF JAMAICA. On a previous auction a seller did tell that this track was out as a booty 45-vinyl not a long time ago... THINK (ABOUT) is a strong Psych Funk track with superb Drum Breaks and great vocals!
Condition: (record/cover/labels, gradings: VG/VG+/VG++/EX/NM)
looks VG+ with some slight surfacemarks/scuffs, play grade is VG++, on side 2 at the very end of track one and on the beginning of the second track there is some surface noise but these are non important tracks //// laminated gatefold cover close to EX, slight seam wear and some creasing in the lamination, photos + insert card NM //// labels are clean
