This record was a gift from Ron DeVaughn to a friend of mine. Ron signed the back with a note: "To Dorsey Davis, Best of luck in the present and hereafter. Salaam, Ron DeVaughn." Dorsey was a recording engineer in Norfolk VA and played tenor sax for years on the road with Otis Redding.
Cover: except for the dedication, the cover in clean, clear, no tears. Some incidental corner dings and small ring bottom front.slight scuffing on the front. Would rate VG+ to VG++.
Vinyl: indication of a single spindle mark on B side, maybe two or three on A side. Some minor hairline scratches, some paper scuff visible. Vinyl is bright and shiny. Would rate VG+ to VG++.
Sound: I did not mechanically clean or vacuum. Occasional tic in a quiet spot, but plays near perfectly, no skips or pops.

On Oct-13-12 at 12:51:57 PDT, seller added the following information:Question about condition of the cover - added pictures of the top, bottom and back edges (best I can do with an iphone). As you can see, no splits or tears at all.
