RECORD packaging and shipping method: I am a record collector who understands the importance of securely packing records. I always pad the package well to prevent shifting during transit. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records.
Here's a beautiful copy of Black Slavery Days with TSOSA, Arrows, The Clapper All Stars & Skulls. This is on the Clapper label. Beautiful copy here. Dub tracks of a couple songs, very cool.
The vinyl: NM- (read below / listen)
Record is as the pictures show. I've cleaned the record on my VPI machine. No marks to note on the vinyl, maybe a stray ultra light scuff that I missed. Sound is excellent as expected. No skips of course, continuous playback throughout, excellent fidelity in my opinion. I have listened to the entire album, recorded it to disk and can make the file available to the winning bidder if desired. The record looks exactly as the pictures on the left show... It sounds exactly as the mp3 file plays below.
The actual, unedited sound file below is provided by my Yamaha P-520 Direct Drive TT with Digitrac 280E cartridge @ 1.5 grams /// I can't guarantee the record will sound exactly like the file below since all turntables are equipped differently.
Check out the sample below:
The labels are in VG++ condition
The many pictures here show the labels accurately. Downgraded from a NM- grade due to a stamp on both labels from original owner.
The cover is in VG++ condition
Cover looks great. Some light wear in limited areas from contact / light shelf contact, but in general, the cover is in great shape. The many pictures here show the cover accurately. Spine print is clear as the pictures show, some light wear at the top corner of spine where some print has been rubbed. No splits. Very nice cover here... direct from 1980.
The inner sleeve is plain... has a couple creases at edge of one side.
This is a very nice copy of the album in my opinion. Some small flaws exist, but it sounds just fantastic as an original pressing should.
I grade conservatively and take a lot of time to properly list my records so please bid with confidence. If you have any questions, please contact me through the 'ask seller a question' link on this page.

"Goldmine Standard" grading:
SS = Still Sealed
Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description.
NM- = Near Mint Minus
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever.
VG+ = Very Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
- Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
The majority of records (worth selling) fall under this grade.
- Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to.
- Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a
"VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.
G+ = Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have continuous crackles, pops, etc... but not so loud as to make the music completely unenjoyable for the casual listener.
- Cover: More than normal wear and tear.
